Plastic and reconstructive surgery
We define a new quality of imaging in full-endoscopic spine surgery. With Richard Wolf camera systems, very small and fine structures can be clearly identified and differentiated.
Recognizing details is important for spine surgery. A clear, meaningful picture to identify structures is the prerequisite for a safe surgery. Thanks to state-of-the-art video technology, Richard Wolf's camera systems make the finest structures appear clearly.
The new 4K camera system from Richard Wolf provides the latest image technology for endoscopic spine surgery. With a brilliant visual impression improves the spatial orientation and depth effect and facilitates the surgical procedure in spine surgery.
SIM - Special Imaging Modes algorithms additionally help to improve tissue differentiation depending on surgical requirements.
The new 4K Camera System from Richard Wolf defines a new quality of imaging in full-endoscopic spine surgery. 4K provides a significantly higher resolution of the endoscopic image compared with the existing HD standard. As a result, very small and fine structures can be clearly displayed and identified. The richness of detail leads to an almost three-dimensional visual impression so that the spatial orientation and depth effect are improved.
The VERTEBRIS endoscopes generate a uniformly illuminated image with sharp margins. The power of the LED light source and the optimized light fiber complements the new increase in camera resolution. New manufacturing technology allows the ergonomically styled metallic camera head to be lightweight and ideal for steam sterilization and chemical sterilization procedures. Multiple signal processesing options are available and operate at a full 4K resolution.

Endocam Logic 4K
Recognizing details is absolutely crucial in minimally invasive spine surgery. A clear, informative image is a prerequisite for delivering safe treatment. The HD technology means that the Richard Wolf camera systems are capable of producing pin-sharp images of the most delicate structures. The HD systems meet the needs of the most discerning endoscopic user, from the endoscope to digital transmission, display, and storage of images.
Digital camera heads, intelligent LED light sources, efficient light cables and brilliant monitors are central components that forms this generation to a high quality camera system.
SIM - Special Imaging Modes
"Special Imaging Modes" (SIM) provide digitally processed visualization that is enhanced from standard, natural white-light imaging.
Six new Special Imaging Modes are available are selectable by the user. These are special image-processing algorithms that can be helpful for improving tissue differentiation depending on the situation. Once a SIM is selected, it can be activated by the press of a button on the camera head. No additional hardware is required for SIM.
HDR
HDR High describes the use of the entire dynamic range of the image material. Dark image areas are lightened and very bright, over-exposed areas are darkened. The endoscopic image supplies more information in these boundary areas.

FLUID CONTROL Arthro is a new pump system for arthroscopy and full-endoscopic spine surgery. The particular strength of this system consists of a combination of high performance and cost-effective overall concept. The new software and technical enhancements make FLUID CONTROL Arthro ideal for interventional and surgical procedures.
The particularly refined control quickly equalizes the pressure but also recognizes abrupt interruptions in the irrigation flow, for example by blocking the outflow on the endoscope. Optical and acoustic alerts are given when critical overpressures occur.
Spine Mode
The unique SPINE MODE is specially developed for use in full-endoscopic spine surgery and guarantees the highest level of safety for perfusion management inside the spinal canal:
- Avoidance of perfusion-related compression of neural structures through intelligent pressure and flow management for all VERTEBRIS diskoscope systems
- Achievement of clear endoscopic image quality due to optimized ratio of high Inflow rate and low Outflow resistance
- Low consumption of irrigation fluid through optimally regulated flow performance
Safety is our commitment
FLUID CONTROL Arthro keeps track of components. The system is fitted with intelligent transponder technology recognizing automatically whether the tube is a system-compatible Richard Wolf tube, the tube type and the number of applications still permitted (for reusable tubes).
Single genius - Ingeniously doubled
FLUID CONTROL Arthro combines the irrigation and suction pump in a single unit. A vacuum pump is integrated alongside the roller pump for irrigation. This makes significant cost savings.
Comprehensive user comfort
The new equipment design with sloping front panel makes the large touchscreen conveniently accessible.
Precise and Tissue-Preserving
The Radioblator RF4 radiofrequency generator, operating at 4 MHz, is the core of an effective tissue-preserving coagulation system. Compared to conventional high-frequency devices, the RF4's frequency is approximately ten times higher.
While safe coagulation and ablation at the electrode are achieved through direct contact with the tissue, adjacent areas experience significantly less heat. This minimizes the risk of thermally induced tissue necrosis and irritation of nearby nerves. The actively articulating TipControl RF electrode allows controlled positioning of the radiofrequency application within the tissue.

Thinking Around Corners – The TipControl Concept
TipControl instruments can be angled at the distal end. They are especially used in fully endoscopic spinal surgery to achieve sufficient maneuverability through minimally invasive access to the surgical site.

TipControl RF Instruments
Precisely focused 4 MHz radiofrequency technology for fully endoscopic spinal surgery. Advantages in functionality and ergonomics:
- 360° handling without changing hand position
- Ergonomic grip design for optimal use with all endoscopic approaches
- Maximum safety thanks to thumb ring guidance
- Various working lengths for interlaminar and transforaminal applications
- Targeted application and precision thanks to the articulating tip
Radioblator RF 4 MHz
The precisely focused effect of the 4 MHz technology, designed to preserve peripheral tissue, makes the Radioblator RF 4 MHz ideal for use near delicate structures such as in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. This complete radiofrequency surgical solution offers efficient ablation, gentle coagulation, and a range of cutting modes in both monopolar and bipolar applications.

The expansion of indications for full-endoscopic techniques to treat conditions ranging from disk herniations to bony spinal canal stenosis requires efficient bony and soft-tissue resection. The powerful PowerSpeed AS1, M5 motor and High-speed handpieces, and associated burrs and resectors meet this requirement.
A wide range of sterile and reusable burrs are available for every application and every surgical need. Several innovative burrs and shavers have been developed specifically as integral parts of many of the VERTEBRIS instrument sets.

NEW PowerSpeed AS1 Motor System
The PowerSpeed AS1 universal motor system for surgical intervention on the spine combines power and speed at once. In combination with the use of various motor handpieces and tools the PowerSpeed AS1 provides fast, powerful and reliable resection and drilling of bone and soft tissue at the spine.
One of the innovations is the special developed bluetooth foot-switch, which can be used as a wireless connection to PowerSpeed AS1-Control unit.

TipControl Burr
A key benefit of endoscopic surgical procedures for the spinal column is that the angled direction of view enables users to "look around corners" and this permits greater visualization over a larger area during an operation. It is absolutely crucial that the working instruments (and abrading instruments) can be adjusted and angled to the match the field of view in order to perform efficient interventions during endoscopic procedures.

TipControl Nucleus Resector
The new deflectable TipControl Nucleus Resector is used for efficient resection of disc material in the lumbar spine.
This disposable resector blade connects to the M5 handpiece, and a robust mechanism allows a lever at the handpiece end to actively deflect the distal tip. This allows the resector to reach much of the disc space, and much of the nucleus tissue can be readily removed. The oscillating mode of the M5 motor handpiece allows effective resection of stronger disk material, while the connected suction facilitates its evacuation.

Sterile Disposable Burrs and Nucleus Resectors
Disposable instruments for optimized abrading and resection performance in challenging full-endoscopic operations deliver time savings with maximum precision.
PowerStick M5 motor handle without any risk of sensitive soft-tissue structures being sucked into the rotating burr.
